Doing your own thing
Cub scouts are encouraged to develop their own hobbies and interests........
They learn safety and leadership skills.
Cub scouts are helpful and respect others.
We take part in lots of physical activities and try to get outside
on every possible occasion. In summertime we often run overtime as we
have the cubs away from the hall.
We do three camps a year, to under canvas and one in cabins. We also
take part in ANZAC Day and several other activities outside our usual
night.
Cubs run on a Monday night between 6:45pm and 8:15pm
during the school term at the Ngaio Scout Hall. If your child should
wish to come along, you must contact us before doing so. If a parent
wants to come along to chat, they are always welcome.
