This is the Ngaio Badge is designed based on two distinctive themes

1. The colour represents the sky and the sun, and has been the colour that represents the Ngaio Group since its inception

2. The Ngaio design which incorporates:
 - The hills around Ngaio.
 - The Trellisick Stream which runs through all of Ngaio down to the the harbour via the Ngaio Gorge.
 - The Ngaio Tree which grows very well here.
